Professional Counsellor Qualifications
I trained for three years at the renowned Gestalt Centre (London). There I obtained a certificate in humanistic counselling and a British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited diploma. In psychotherapy and counselling I have worked in a large organisational setting, and currently I work in private practice. As a professional counsellor, I am registered and accredited with BACP. I abide by the BACP ethical framework, and am also a member of the UK Association for Gestalt Practitioners (UKAGP). I hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
My background is in research and I hold a doctorate in biomedicine. I have twenty years’ experience of working in academic and research leadership roles in internationally-renowned institutions (including Imperial College London and Oxford University) and I have extensive experience of mentoring and coaching at a senior level.
